Mens Division 2

Co Coach - Leon Kahn

Leon has played at the Southern Districts football Club for nearly 30 years. Junior U/14 to A Grade 1987-2013/14 including the Under 18s Premiership in the 1989/90 season along side Nathan Buckley and many other SDFC juniors that went on to play Seniors at the SDFC.

Over this time Leon had playing stints with the Jabiru Bombers NTFA/TEAFA 5 Grand Finals / 2 Premierships includes Jabiru Team of the 90's & 00's
West Torrens U/19 SANFL , Bairnsdale FC 1991 Victoria , Bridgetown FC 1992 W.A. , Derby Bulldogs W.A. 94-96 , West Broken Hill 1997 NSW, Taree FC 98-99 NSW, Cairns City Cobras 2000 QLD , Spinifex Cats W.A 2001-02 , Derby Lightning 2003 W.A. Coaching Profile : Spinifex Cats 2002.

Leon commenced Coaching with the SDFC Under 18's as an Assistant Coach in the 2005/06 season and then went onto Southern Districts Mens Division Two Assistant Coach 2011/13 & 2012/13. He then became the Mens Division Two Coach 2013/14. The side only just missed out on the finals by one game last season and hopefully this season can go one step further and become the first SDFC Mens Div Two team to make the finals following in the footsteps of the previous NTFA side which formed the nucleus of the first Mens Div Two team.

Co Coach - Mark Pisani

Mark has played at the SDFC for 6 years. He has played about 70 senior games in Mens Div Two. Mainly played in the Ruck and Centre Half Forward. He has won Best Team Man on two occassions and most Improved in my his season. He has represented for the N.T. for 6 years in Masters and played 5 in Australian tittles where the N.T. has won twice Over 40's Division.

"I Decided to get into coaching to learn more about the game , learn from other coaches and pass on my experience to new and existing players". 

Before playing Aussie Rules Mark played representative Volleyball for 25 years and has 2 Australian titles in beach volleyball rebound. He First Played for the N.T. at 11 years old and was in the first ever N.T. team to represent in the Australian titles Under 15s. He played volleyball in Timor for the first ever trial for the Arafura games in 1988. Was ranked 1 in the N.T. In volleyball. 

Mark is a great example of SDFC players who have now gone onto coaching roles with the club.
