AFL Game Foodstall volunteers needed urgently.
The SDFC will be running a foodstall selling food and softdrinks at the AFL game between Fremantle and Melbourne this Saturday night the 5th of July at TIO Stadium Marrara. We need people to help out between 5:30pm amd 9:00pm. This is a very important fundraiser for the club and anyone of any age can help. You will recieve free entry and food and sofdrinks whilst helping out. Please let us know if you can help out by Thursday the 3rd. 2014 Polocrose Natinonal Championships Vounteers needed.
The SDFC will be running a foodstall at the Australian Polocrose Championships starting on Monday the 7th of July until the 13th of July. The Championships will be running during day and night over the school holidays with many great events happenning in the evenings also. We need a lot of helpers of any age for various shifts please come down and help out and have a great time too. Please contact Renee on 0432 071 238 if you can help out.
Polocrosse is a fast paced and entertaining team sport played on horseback. It combines the speed of polo, the strategy and tactics of netball, toughness of rugby and AFL, and the ball handling ability of lacrosse. Polocrosse is the “King of the One Horse Sports.”
The 2014 National Polocrosse Championship week long event is held every two years and showcases the best players and horses from 7 States when they come together to compete for the Australian Champions Title in 8 Divisions.

The Southern Districts Football Club boasts 12 teams and is fast becoming the basis for the largest sporting organisation and future sporting precinct in the Darwin Rural area.
Coaching Applications are now being welcomed from interested persons for:
• Premier League, Mens Div 1, Mens Div 2, Womens.
• Unders18s, 16s, 14s, 12’s.
The Committee wishes to establish a professional and disciplined culture for players, coaches and all those associated with ‘The Crocs’.
Successful applicants will have a strong desire to provide sound leadership to players and encourage a supportive team environment.
The Committee is particularly interested in your focus on skill development strategies and tactics and your dedication to developing our local talent.
The club has a keen focus on providing all coaching staff and volunteers with accredited training and Personal Development opportunities in line with its Strategic Plan for 2014 – 2018.

AGM – change of date
The Southern Districts Football Club wishes to advise all members of a change of date for this year’s AGM.
The AGM will now be held on Sunday 20th July at 2pm. (Previously 15th June)
The oder of business:
Consideration of the accounts and reports of the Committee and Coaches;
Presentation of Draft Strategic Plan 2014 - 2018, incorporating Club Mission and Values statements;
Election of new Committee Board Members;
any other business requiring consideration by the club
Nominations for SDFC Life Members must be presented in writing and supported by two (2) SDFC Members.
